A Journey To India! A

My vacation started boring, but gets very exciting! So this will be my journey to India!

So it started out as me and Om (brother) coming out of school early. Ms. Rose, Ms. Hidalgo and Ms. Rodriguez (our teachers) gave us like 10 pounds of homework! It was so much! So after that Goldy mama (uncle) drove me Om mama papa to the airport. Then we had to wait two hours at the airport for our flight. It felt like seven hours! But we had to get food because Om (brother) always gets hungry! And then finally it was time for our flight! Finally we arrived on the plane! It felt so great! So first we walked through a big tunnel. Then we found our seat and sat down. And after ten minutes later plane took off! It looked so cool! The plane had a T.V. so I played lots of cool games on the T.V. At night I read a book, but it was very uncomfortable so I could not sleep so I slept at 11:00 PM but I woke up at like I think 3:00 AM. I slept 4:00 AM. I woke up at 8:00 AM. But even I thought it was like 7:30 AM in America, it was 4:00 AM at Doha where we stopped before India. Now we were at Doha. They had to check our bags again! Then we waited for about an hour. Then we ate something, and then we were off! So the next flight was 3 hours. I played lots of interesting games on the T.V. and then after what almost felt like 3 years, we were in India! Taya ji (my other uncle) along with my cousins Raghav Bahiya & Vanshika didi was already there to pick us up from airport. So after that we had to drive in a car to get to our house. I mostly slept in the car, and finally we were at our destination! So when we arrived at our house we just talked a little. And then I mom and my cousin went shopping because we were going to a party at night. After we went to the party. It was my first ever wedding party! It was really fun! Then a couple days later, we went to mama’s aunt’s house. And it took 8 hours to get there! OMG! So we started early in the morning and during the drive we feed the monkeys bread out the window! There were so many monkeys! So when we got there we talked, ate dinner, and went to sleep. The next day we woke up early like at 6:00 AM. So at 8:00 our dad and our cousins took a bath in the lake while we ate breakfast. Then we went on the roof of the house and saw the view of the lake. It was so beautiful! Then we went where we could play lots of games and activities. We did some shopping and crossed a big bridge above the water! It was so cool! We also went boating! It was such a fun day! P.S. the river is called Ganga. Next we went to Naina Devi. So let’s get started! So first we had to drive like, 2 hours. In the car I just looked out the window and talked a little. So when we got there we had to go up like a million stairs! But actually I was only like 400 stairs total. Going up the stairs was so tiring! And it took so long! It took forever! So finally when we got up the stairs, we prayed, took some photos, and then we left. But luckily, we did not have go back down all those stairs, because there was a different and shorter way to get down. So we went down and went back home. And in the car I did the same thing as last time, I looked out the window and talked a little. Later we ate gol gappe (Indian street snack) it tastes so good! Next on my adventure I went to my bua ji’s (aunt’s) house. We stayed there for a day. So that meant that we were going to sleep there. But it only took 1 hour to get there. So when we got there it was the afternoon and we just talked, ate Kachori, Samosa and yummy pakore and well just talked! So at night we ate dinner and went to sleep. So the next day, mama went to the store with bua ji and Manisha didi. So me, papa, Om and Vanshika didi stayed home and then later, played cricket with kids in neighborhood and friends! It is so easy to make friends there and we could play on the street! It was super fun! So after we played cricket, we went inside and relaxed a little. Then at night time mama came back with Manisha didi and bua ji. We told everybody what we did today. It was really fun that day! Our next trip was to Chintapurni mata. So let’s get started! So we started to go at 6:00 AM. And that is super early! And also it took four hours to get there. So when we got in the car I looked out the window and I was very very bored. And finally we were there! So when we got there luckily we did not have to climb 400 stairs! So when we got there we prayed and mama bought some things. And then we went back again for 4 hours in the car it is super boring. So when we got home we relaxed. And then like 30 minutes later, Raghav bhaiya took Om’s dolphin and then the trouble started. Om was yelling SO loud that it sounded like a big monster. Raghav bhaiya put Om’s dolphin up on the closet that no one could reach it except him. Raghav bhaiya was being super duper mean and weird but funny. But then we got it down. It was such a great day! The next adventure was to the golden temple. But after the golden temple we would have to go home. But at least I would get to see karsyn again. So at 5:00 PM we went to the Golden Temple. In the car I did the same thing. But Raghav bhaiya just bothered Om and he cried. I was SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO annoyed. So we arrived at 8:00 PM and we looked around. It was SO beautiful! There were shops, places you could stay, and lots more. And it was all golden! So to get in we had to clean our feet so we stepped in water and it was so cold. Then we had to walk in a big circle to get in the middle of the water. Where there was a place we prayed. So we prayed and mama bought a pair of shoes. So the airport was only fifteen minutes away so we arrived early. Since we arrived early, we stayed in the car for a while. We arrived at 11:00 PM when our flight was at 3:00 AM. So we said bye to everyone and went inside. Then we got our bags checked and waited until 3 o’clock. So when it was time for our flight, we again went through the big tunnel and onto the plane and waited to take off. So when we took off it looked so cool! It was still so uncomfortable! I also played on the T.V. so then later the next day, we arrived at Doha the people checked our bags again. So after that we waited and it was time for our flight! So we went on the plane and it took off. On this plane I ate some Ice cream. It was delicious! So when we landed Om just wanted to sleep! So we got off the plane, collected the bags, and left. So then Goldy mama picked us up and dropped us off at our house. We were so happy to see him! So the next day me and Om went to school, and when Karsyn saw me she dropped all her things and came running to me! Then later when I and Om got home from school, nani (grandma) was there! So was jimmy! We were so happy. (Om probably wasn’t happy about jimmy.) So when papa got home we all talked and had dinner together! And that is my journey to India! The End
